Photo Of The Day – we are now on our 7th year of bringing you high-quality photographs from the world of firearms every day.

Today we have the pleasure to join Norwegian Soldiers from the “Jegerkompani”,  during practice before their Night watch. This is in the Finnmark area in Northern Norway.

It’s the first time I see a Heckler & Koch HK417 in this type of camouflage, a combination of green and FDE/yellow. Their HK416Ns seems to be painted in the same colors and pattern.

Above: Someone invented a pretty clever solution with rubber bands for the protective caps to stay in place on the Schmidt & Bender rifle scope. They probably got fed up losing them over and over.

AG-HK416 – M320 Grenade Launcher Module by Heckler & Koch on an HK416N with Aimpoint, and an M72 LAW (Light Anti-Tank Weapon) on the back.
