Featured Deals of the Week – 2/28/20

Hey, folks welcome back to another Featured Deals of the Week. One of these days Grammarly is going to stop assuming that “another Featured Deals” should be “another Featured Deal” or “other Featured deals”, but it is not this day. Without any further ado, let’s make our wallets cry.

    Piney Mountain 22lr Tracers – $25 for 50, $120 for 250

    Image Provided by Kosher Surplus

    What the deal is:

Look tracers are cool alright? I think we all know it. Well, now you can have some of your own to plink around with. Why 22 LR? Well, almost everybody has a 22, and it’s a lot less expensive than 5.56 tracers let me tell you that. They come in 12 round packs, 50 round boxes, 250 round bulk boxes, 500 round bricks (10 boxes) and 5,000 round cases (100 boxes). Additionally, you have your choice of color, red, green, white or orange, or a mix.

    Why it’s a good deal:

This is a very reasonably priced 22 LR tracer ammo. While you can, if you look, find 22 LR tracers for around 43-45 cpr, it’s not easy. The fact that Kosher Surplus has not only reasonably (50 cpr and lower) priced ammo, but bulk in stock makes this a good deal.

    G19 Polymer80 Threaded barrel Complete Kit – $409.99

Image Provided by F and F Firearms

    What the deal is:

It’s exactly what it sounds like. A Polymer80 complete build kit for a Glock 19 clone with a threaded barrel. The kit comes with a V1 G19 slide, shadow systems internals, a match grade threaded barrel, OEM sights, recoil spring, and LPK. And of course, a Polymer80 frame with jig and tooling. There are also G17s for the same price.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Honestly, the price on these is really good. A lower by itself usually goes for around $160, and a full build kit for around $550 or more. So getting a full kit for just $409? Hard to pass up.

    Hornady Frontier M193 5.56 55gr 1000 rounds – $289.50

Featured Deals Of The Week 2-28-2020

    What the deal is:

It’s everybody’s favorite cartridge, in everybody’s favorite load! I’m sure there are some people out there who will say that 5.56 in M193 isn’t their favorite cartridge and load pairing, but those people are wrong and should be ignored. Jokes aside, this is a big old case of 5.56 that should last you about 15 minutes or so at the range.

    Why it’s a good deal:

At just 28.9cpr this is a damn good price for M193. While you can find it for as low as 28.1 cpr, that usually involves buying 13,889 rounds “loose in barrel” for just under $4000. If you don’t want to spend $4000, but do want to get a good deal on M193, this is the deal for you.

    Ar500 Armor Testudo Gen2 Package with plates – $199

    Image Provided by AR500 Armor

    What the deal is:

For when you absolutely, positively, have to LARP in mom’s basement, accept no substitutes. If you’re looking for a nice set of gear in case of SHTF, TEOTWAWKI, TNGWAICTTOG, MDROOHMSA (McDonalds Ran Out Of Honey Mustard Sauce Again), or any other truly horrific situation, this is actually not a bad setup. The plates are steel (not AR500 grade steel, armor grade steel), or for $90 more you can get polyethylene plates. The full bundle is a plate carrier, two plates, and two trauma pads, but you can upgrade the plates, add pouches, and of course change the color of the carrier.

    Why it’s a good deal:

For a duty carrier and plates? Not so much. But for an emergency setup? Absolutely. For just $200 you’re getting a plate carrier and two Level 3 plates, which is an absolute steal.
