POTD: Type 56 AK With No Sunroof
Today’s Photo Of The Day gives us a top view of an AK ( Type 56) with the dust cover removed and with & without bolt/recoil spring assembly.
If you’re a collector you should own some kind of “Back To Basic” firearm, like the AK pictured.
My choice is the Czech Vz 58 with a Paratrooper stock (stick!) in 7.62x39mm.
Cheap and reliable, and requires some respect or it will bite back. If treated right it will hit where the iron sights are aimed, but it’s good if the target is within 100 yards.
