[SHOT 2020] New Lightweight Titanium Mounts & Parts from American Defense Manufacturing
American Defense Manufacturing were showing off their new range of magnifiers and some new titanium mounts and AR parts at SHOT Show. First up lets take a look at their new magnifiers that first appears earlier last year.
The first of the family of new magnifiers is the Flik3, a fixed 3x power magnifier which comes with an ambidextrous mount and is available at an MSRP of $369. The Flik5 as you might guess is a fixed 5x magnifier with an overall length of 3.74in it is shorter than an Eotech G33 and has an eye relief of 2.5” and a field of view of 4.38°/230 feet at 100 yards. MSRP on the Flik5 is $475. The Flik3 and Flik 5 are both available as part of American Defense Manufacturing’s Duo packages which see the magnifiers paired with their Spek red dot optics.
All of the mounts come with their new much lighter Titanium quick detach levers that help drop the weight of the mount significantly. Right now American Defense Manufacturing have their Aimpoint M68 NV Mount and their Aimpoint ACRO Mounts both available in titanium. The Titanium QD lever assembly improves on American Defense Manufacturing’s proprietary QD autolock system and is now available as an upgrade to all previous American Defense Manufacturing mounts. The Titanium lever assembly has an MSRP of $52.99 and reduces the overall weight by over 50%, lowers thermal expansion rates by over 60% and improves thread pull strength significantly.
Another Titanium product they have been perfecting are their AR gas blocks and American Defense Manufacturing were also keen to note that they are currently working on refining their manufacturing process for Titanium mounts and will have a whole range of Titanium mounts including their T1 Ti (with an MSRP of $148.99) and the MRO Ti (with an MSRP of $148.99) which will be shipping in June 2020. They also hope to include their Recon in the Titanium range in the future.

I absolutely love that these guys blatantly ripped off their logo from Command & Conquer GDI. Makes me smile every time I see it.
They have fantastic customer service. I had to get a replacement mount and they gave me zero hassle.
