Remington had a massive presence to showcase its 100th anniversary at this year’s SHOT Show.  In addition to showcasing the massive lineup and legacy, Remington also debuted two new variants to the 700 series of pistols and rifles.

    Remington 700 PCR Enhanced

One of the most popular upgrades to the 700 series action has always been the addition of aftermarket stocks and chassis.  In order to take the lineup further, Remington decided to partner with MDT to create the new Remington 700 PCR Enhanced.

In keeping with tradition, the new PRC Enhanced features the same 700 action but with slight refinements made to the external features of the rifle.  The rifle comes in a threaded barrel configuration that should pair nicely with your favorite muzzle device or silencer.

Here was the additional information provided by Remington about the 700 PCR Enhanced

New for 2020, the Model 700 PCR Enhanced adds even more advanced accuracy features to the Model 700 PCR, including our Remington chassis frame, handguard and barreled action – now Cerakoted in black for added all-weather protection, 10-round detachable Magpul magazine and an adjustable MDT Skeleton carbine stock. Both rifles feature M-LOK attachment and pair the strongest action ever conceived – our legendary Model 700 – with an exclusive aircraft-grade aluminum alloy chassis of unmatched rigidity and atmospheric immunity to create the most stable and consistent platform possible for launching long-distance strikes on game. It’s a potent combination made even more effective with a 24″ barrel with 5R rifling and sub-MOA accuracy confirmed using our advanced CATS (Computer Aided Targeting System) before they ship to you. Available in three popular long-range chamberings including 6mm
Creedmoor, 6.5 Creedmoor, and 308 Win

    Remington Model 700-CP Arm Brace

The Model 700-CP Arm Brace isn’t the first 700 series pistol that has been released by Remington.  Remington is looking to take the 700 father into the 21st century by providing users an SB Tactical brace from the factory.

The following is the press release from Remington for the Model 700-CP Arm Brace.

Engineered for drilling big game, varmints, steel silhouettes and targets from a couple football fields away. Built around the Remington 700 action and chassis system, the Model 700-CP gives hunters and shooters an accurate and compact platform for backcountry hunting and long-range competition where the targets may be set 300, 500, 700 yards and beyond. The legendary Model 700 action provides the industry’s fastest locktime (2.5 to 3.0 milliseconds), which minimizes the effects of shooter movement meaning greater shot-to-shot consistency. The Model 700-CP’s X-Mark Pro externally adjustable trigger is set from 3.5 to 5 lbs. at the factory and is user-adjustable with readily available tools. Bringing Remington bolt-action pistols into the tactical age, the Model 700-CP’s Remington Chassis comes equipped with a rear stock QD plate and an M-LOK ® compatible free float handguard. The forged aluminum chassis is lightweight, extremely durable and allows for detachable magazines and many MSR-based accessories. New for 2020, the Model 700-CP Arm Brace brings the added stability and inherent precision of an SB Tactical arm brace to the bolt-action platform’s accuracy equation
