Springfield Armory has turned a lot of heads when they announced at SHOT Show their SAINT Edge PDW chambered in 5.56mm NATO, but a nearly equally exciting product announcement has been their SAINT Edge EVAC! This is an AR pistol platform that boasts the ability to fold and break it down into a compact footprint so small that it practically would fit in a lunchbox-sized case.

By using a Gear Head Works “Tailhook” brace that is coupled with a Law Tactical Folding Stock Adapter, Springfield Armory has been able to make their SAINT Edge platform more compact than ever! Once you factor in the addition of an upper assembly utilizing a Pantheon Arms Dolos Takedown System you get a user-friendly breakdown that is perfect for your truck, car, or relatively any backpack you might have. The current MSRP for the Springfield Armory SAINT Edge EVAC is benchmarked at $1,949. That price might be a little difficult to swallow for some, but you need to bear in mind that this firearm contains a lot of high-end, proprietary components that if you tried to construct it yourself you would end up paying more out-of-pocket.
