POF USA‘s SHOT Show booth was crowded as usual. And the reason is they simply always have new and innovative products. This year, in addition to the Minuteman rifle that was introduced a couple of months ago, POF USA also brought the following new products: Rebel22 rimfire pistol, Rogue rifle and pistol, and P19 pistol. Let’s take a brief look at each of the new guns.

P19 Pistol

This pistol denotes the company’s entry into the handgun market. POF USA Gentleman Series P19 pistol is built with POF’s Glock slide and barrel on a newly developed Glock 19 Gen4 pattern frame. According to the company, the new frame is “optimized for enhanced grip and handling“. It has a flared magazine well, interchangeable backstraps, extended beavertail, enlarged trigger guard and forward thumb ledges.

The slide of the P19 pistol is made of 17-4 stainless steel and has a nitrided finish/surface treatment. It comes with a blacked-out rear sight, fiber optic front sight as well as a Trijicon RMR footprint cut covered by a plate.

The MSRP of the P19 is not yet specified on their website but as the company officials told me, it should be $1,100.

Rogue

Every time I pass by the POF USA booth at SHOT Show, I can’t help but stop by and admire their ingenious 308 receiver design that manages to fit a .308 magazine into AR-15 lower receiver dimensions. This year, they added another rifle and a pistol to the family of weapons built on this receiver concept. One of the goals of designing the new Rogue series of firearms was to create the lightest 308 guns without sacrificing the rigidity of the weapon. With an overall weight of 5.9 lbs for the Rogue rifle (16.5″ barrel) and 5.6 lbs of the Rogue pistol (12.5″ barrel), these are really handy guns. When you shoulder them, it’s hard to believe that you are holding a 308 AR.

The Rogue pistols and rifles come with POF’s KeyLock DI BCGs, ambidextrous safety selector levers, Renegade rails and stainless steel match grade barrels with a heatsink barrel nut and POF Micro B muzzle brake. The MSRP of the Rogue rifle is $1799.99 and the Rogue pistol is priced at $1864.99.

REBEL22

If you flip the cover page of the POF USA’s printed catalog, the first thing you’ll see is the picture of the new Rebel22 semi-auto rimfire pistol that they have released just before SHOT Show. And if you look closer you’ll notice an inscription under the picture saying “*actual size”. This AR-style rimfire plinker is indeed very compact and lightweight weighing in at only 3.25 lbs. It has a monolithic aluminum upper receiver and an injection-molded lower receiver. The 8″ barrel is threaded with the 1/2-28 thread pitch. The Rebel22 is compatible with AR-15 pistol grips, stocks and triggers and it’s fed from Ruger 10/22 magazines including the extended ones,

the three-magazine couplers,

and drums.
