SILENCER SATURDAY #108: SHOT Show Suppressor Coverage PreviewThe DOMINUS-SR is our high-performance hard-use/full-auto 5.56 and .30 caliber suppressor. It delivers four principal design goals:

1. full-auto durability;
2. light-weight titanium construction;
3. best-in-class repeatability, accuracy, and retention;and
4. similar suppression to the Ultra series .

It is a true light-weight “Go To War” suppressor and is perfect for 5.56 assault rifles and .30 caliber battle rifles, including SBR variants. It retains the accuracy and repeatability TBAC is known for. It’s equally at home on a 0.25 MOA bolt rifle on the 1500-yard range as it is on a MK18 in the CQB house.

The 6.95-inch DOMINUS-SR meters at 137 dB (milspec left/right) and 126 dB at shooters-ear¹ on a 20-inch .308. This puts it right between the Ultra 7 and Ultra 9, These are numbers from our PULSE system which should be considered definitive, supplanting all data from the older 2209 sound-level meters.

Titanium Precision Rifle Suppressor

We will be accepting DOMINUS-CB orders starting the first morning of SHOT Show 2020.

The DOMINUS-CB is a high-performance .30 caliber suppressor. It delivers three principal design goals:
1. light-weight titanium construction;
2. best-in-class repeatability and accuracy; and
3. similar suppression to the Ultra series .

The DOMINUS-CB is based on our DOMINUS-SR suppressor, but uses the CB mount. Please refer to the DOMINUS-SR specifications page for more information about the SR. The CB mount derates the retention level from full-auto capable but the resulting suppressor is lighter, shorter, and less expensive vs. the DOMINUS-SR.

Compared to the ULTRA 7, the DOMINUS-CB is 0.75″ shorter and larger in diameter by 0.30″, but about 2 dB quieter. It meters at 137 dB (milspec left/right) and 126 dB at shooters-ear¹ on a 20-inch .308.
