Featured Deals of the Week – 1/17/20

    Deals-of-the-Week-Header-1

Would you believe I wrote 1/17/19, corrected it to 1/1/7/20, and only after typing up most of this article I realized it was wrong? Well, it doesn’t really matter. Here’s some deals to drain your wallet.

    Colt M16A1 Parts Kit w/ Triangle Handguard – $479

Image Provided by Apex Gun Parts

    What the deal is:

If you’ve ever wanted to run through the jungle in your mom’s backyard, or just like the aesthetics of these old warhorses and want to build a clone, well this is the deal for you. This kit includes everything you need to build an M16A1 clone except a barrel and lower receiver. It does not include an autosear.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Honestly, these parts kits are drying up. They’re only going to get harder and harder to find as time goes on. I’m sure some of TFB’s readership can tell you about a time when M16A1 parts kits were like leaves on trees. Heck, it wasn’t too long ago that they could be imported with the original barrels. Not anymore.

    Bonus Deal!

If you for whatever reason don’t want to own the original BCG, Atlantic Firearms has the same set sans bolt and carrier for just $399.

Vortex Razor AMG UH-1 Holo Sight – $299.99

Image Provided by Sportsmans Outdoor Superstore

    What the deal is:

The UH-1 has that odd boxy shape that lends itself extremely well to certain sights. By saying that I’m sure I’ve invited some optics expert to pen a 1000 word essay in the comments on why this shape is actually perfect and how dare I say it looks weird, but come on. It looks weird. It’s also a good budget holo sight, if somewhat on the heavy side at 11.8oz.

    Why it’s a good deal:

Generally speaking, you can find the UH-1 for around $350, so for just $300 is a pretty good deal. This is slowly becoming the going rate for these, however, so don’t worry if you miss out. Just keep an eye on the price, it’ll drop.

    PSAK-47 GF3 OD Green – $529.99

Image Provided by Palmetto State Armory

    What the deal is:

Alright, you’ve all heard about Palmetto’s AKs. There’s nothing I can say that will make a lick of difference in your opinion. Some people think they’re a great value, and worth buying. Some people cling to the notion that Americans cannot build an AK worth a damn no matter what and refuse to buy anything Kalashnikov that isn’t imported.

    What the deal is:

It’s on sale of course. About $270 off sticker price and about $200 less than any of the other similar AKs Palmetto is selling, although as I’m sure you know the price can drop like a rock if someone so much as sneezes and Palmetto thinks it’s a good time for a sale.

Natchez Shooters Supplies Friends & Family Weekend

    What the deal is:

Natchez is having a Friends and Family weekend, and they’ve got a bunch of stuff on sale along with some discounts like above. Their ammo prices are pretty meh, but they’ve got some good deals in there. Like a Chargemaster Dispenser & Scale for $279.99, or a Leupold BX-2 Cascades for $174.49.
