It is ironic that what might be one of the hottest releases on all of SHOT Show 2020 is 100% Russsian. But – the good news is that it is also 100% American at the same time.

This year Kalashnikov USA is launching their new 7.62x39mm KR-103. A Kalashnikov AK rifle that is 100% US made, down to every single piece.

Kalashnikov will also be launching a line of parts and other goodies.

The initial release will come as pictured, but there will be side-folding stocks, restricted State versions and so forth with time.

The barrel is chrome lined and has a forged 5.5mm trunnion. The magazines are new and Made In the USA as well.

Completely compatible with any AKM style furniture and accessories.

KUSA will also be launching a line of US made parts for your existing AKM builds

In the future there may also be options like a version in 5.45x39mm.

So how much is it? I am pretty sure this is the question most if not all readers here at TFB are asking themselves. The MSRP is said to be $1,090, which sounds fair enough.

They will be taking international pre-orders as well and there will be a few available for dealers in the beginning.

The Kalashnikov KR-103 and rest of the releases will be happening at noon on the opening day of SHOT.
