Krink, Krinkov, Kalashnikov: The Story of an Icon

The AKS74U is perhaps one of the more interesting Kalashnikov variants that has spawned a following all over the world due to its compact size and effects as a status symbol in the United States, Middle East, and Central Asia. The name itself is one such example of that following that continues today. Coming from Pashtu origins in the midst of the Soviet-Afghan War, Krinkov has been turned into Krink in the US context and is still just as popular as ever.

In this episode, we go over some of that history from the very beginning when the Soviet Army needed a compact weapon system for soldiers whose primary specialty needed something more compact than an AK74. Today it is revered as a status symbol by good guys and bad guys alike.

Would it be possible to auto-generate transcripts of the videos, hence turning them to text articles, and paste that below the vids?

I avoid videos because I read faster than most people talk, plus you can skip-while-searching over large bodies of text.

@TechnoTriticale Thats doesn't allow you to fastread/scan through the entire text, skip information you already know and focus on what's new/interesting.

There is a reason why universities force you to read actual books instead of listening to audiobooks or watching vids, and that's because written text is by far best medium for processing high volumes of information.

the term Krink, was coined by "Pauly Mahoney", a Florida AK builder arount 1998. His company was named krinks. He was the first guy to make AK receivers for domestic consumption.
