As you know, this year Vista Outdoor ammunition brands came up with a large number of new products. Some of the most interesting ones we covered in separate dedicated articles and today we’ll take a brief look at the rest of the new products released by Federal Premium Ammunition, CCI, Blazer and Speer.

Federal Premium Ammunition

Rifle Ammunition

• Terminal Ascent hunting rifle ammunition and bullets
• Gold Medal rifle ammunition line now also offers a 6.5 PRC ammo loaded with 140-gr Berger Hybrid bullets.
• American Eagle Buckets. The .223 Remington American Eagle ammunition will be available in 200 and 300-round bulk pack plastic containers. This ammo is loaded with 55-grain FMJ bullets.
• The 90 grain .224 caliber Fusion bullet that is loaded in Federal .224 Valkyrie Fusion loads, is now available as a reloading component.
• MeatEater .280 Ackley Improved load branded after and named the official ammunition of MeatEater weekly Netflix series. This 280 AI cartridge is loaded with a 140-grain Trophy Copper bullet with a muzzle velocity of 2,930 fps.
• Federal Swift Scirocco II. A line of ammunition loaded with Swift Scirocco II bullets. This ammunition will be available in nine popular rifle cartridge options: .243 Win, 6.5mm Creedmoor, .270 Win, .270 WSM, 7mm Rem Mag, .308 Win, .30-06 Sprg, .300 Win Mag and .300 WSM.

Handgun Ammunition

• Punch – new defensive handgun ammunition line.
• Solid Core – new handgun ammunition with polymer-coated hard cast lead bullets.
• The HST line now includes 124-grain 9mm Luger +P, 125-grain 357 SIG and 230-grain 45 Auto +P loads.
• The Hydra-Shok Deep ammunition now also has a .380 Auto offering (99gr bullet at 1,000 fps) that is advertised not only to expand but also penetrate past the minimum 12″ FBI recommended depth.
• 9mm NATO – this new Federal ammunition is loaded to NATO specs with sealed case mouths and staked and sealed primers. Its 124-grain FMJ bullets have an advertised muzzle velocity of 1,260 fps.
• Fusion Handgun ammunition is expanded with the addition of a 10mm Auto load. The 200-grain bullet of this load has a muzzle velocity of 1,200 fps.
• The HST defensive handgun ammunition and Syntech training ammo will now be available in a single box of Federal Practice & Defense Packs. The 100-round packages will include 50 rounds of HST and 50 rounds of Syntech. Both the training and self-defense ammunition are as Federal calls “ballistically paired” meaning that they have the same bullet weight and muzzle velocities, trajectories and points of impacts. The Practice & Defense Packs will be available in 9mm with 124 and 147-grain bullet options, .40 S&W with 180-grain bullets and .45 Auto with 230-grain bullets.
• Syntech Range ammo now includes .38 Special loaded with 147-grain TSJ polymer-coated bullets.
• Train + Protect line has been expanded with the addition of three loads: .380 Auto (85 gr), .357 Magnum (125 gr), and .38 Special (158 gr). As other cartridges in this line, the new ones are also loaded with VHP jacketed hollow point bullets.

Shotgun Ammunition

• Force X2 – new defensive shotgun ammunition with 00 buckshot pellets that split in half upon impact.
• Black Cloud TSS will have a 20 gauge option. The 3″ 20 ga shells will be offered with a one-ounce load consisting of a blend of #3 Flitestopper Steel and #9 Tungsten Super Shot pellets loaded in Flitecontrol Flex wads.
• Federal Paper Flyer – new upland hunting shotgun ammunition loaded in waxed paper hulls. This ammo will be available in 12 gauge 2-3/4″ loaded with a 1 1/4 oz load of #7-1/2 copper-plated hard lead pellets.
• Prairie Storm shotgun ammunition is now available in 16 and 28 gauges. These shells are loaded with a mixture of 70% copper-plated lead and 30% Flitestopper pellets in Flitecontrol Flex wads. There will be three 16 gauge options (1-1/4 oz loads of #4, #5 or #6 birdshot) and one 28 gauge (13/16 oz of #6 birdshot).
• Speed-Shok shotgun ammunition will be available in 100-round bulk packs. The options include 1-1/4oz BB, #4 and #2 loads.
• Speed-Shok Sea Duck – a new shotgun ammunition family specifically designed for coastal waterfowl hunting. This ammo will be available in three 1-1/4 oz 12ga 3″ shell options loaded with #2, #3 or #4 birdshot.
• Upland Steel ammunition line is expanded to include 28 gauge and 410 bore loads in addition to the 12 and 20 ga. Both 28 ga and 410 bore will be available loaded with #6 or #7-1/2 steel shot.
• 12 gauge (1 1/8 oz #7-1/2 or #8) and 20 gauge (7/8 oz, #8) Top Gun target shotgun ammunition is now available in 100-round bulk packs.
• MeatEater Bismuth – shotgun ammunition branded after the MeatEater TV show. This ammo will be available in #3, #4 or #5 bismuth birdshot loads for 12 ga (3″ 1 3/8 oz and 2 3/4″ 1 1/4 oz) and 20 ga (3″ 1 1/8 oz).

Speer

• 5.7x28mm Gold Dot self-defense ammo.
• Gold Dot Carry Gun – this ammunition is based on the Gold Dot G2 and is optimized for compact concealed carry pistols. The nose cavity of bullets is filled with an elastomer material to initiate the expansion. This ammo will be available in 9mm (135-grain bullet), .40 S&W (165 gr), and 45 Auto +P (200 gr).
• Gold Dot Rifle Personal Protection. Self-defense rifle ammunition optimized for 16″ or shorter barrels. This ammunition will be available in .223 Remington (55, 62 and 75-grain bullets), .300 Blackout (150 gr) and .308 Winchester (150 gr) options.

CCI/Blazer

• “Stangers” .22LR Ammunition – special edition Stingers named as YouTuber 22plinkster spells it. This rimfire ammo is loaded with 32-grain hollow point copper plated bullets launched to a muzzle velocity of 1,640 fps.
• Maxi-Mag & VNT Pour Packs. The .22WMR VNT (30 gr bullet) and Maxi-Mag (40 gr), as well as .17HMR VNT (17 gr) cartridges, will be available in reclosable 125-round bulk packs.
• .22 LR Clean-22 Suppressor ammo (45-grain bullet at 1,000 fps) will be available in bulk 200-round pour packs.
• .22 LR Clean-22 Steel Challenge. This is the official ammunition of the USPSA Steel Challenge. It is loaded with 40-grain round nose polymer coated bullets with an advertised muzzle velocity of 1,235 fps.
• Clean-22 Maxi-Mag Segmented Hollow Point 22 WMR. The segmented 46-grain polymer-coated hollow point bullets of this .22 WMR ammo split into three equal size pieces upon impact.
• Blazer Brass ammunition now has a 10mm Auto option loaded with a 180-grain FMJ bullet.
• Blazer .22 LR ammunition (38-grain bullet at 1,235 fps) will be available in 425-round pour packs.
