More than 3,000 soldiers participated in the Navy Flotex-17 exercise. In Today’s Photo Of The Day we’re going to take a look at some of the 12.7 mm Heavy Machine Guns used by the Norwegian Navy.

The exercise focuses on the planning and management of a scenario of international crisis and its main objective is to coordinate, at all levels, the different needs of preparation and isolation of the units and the staff in the fleet interacting in a common scene (Source).
