Featured Deals of the Week – 11/22/19
Can you guys believe it’s almost Black Friday? Don’t worry, there’s plenty of retailers who can, and they’re already posting their Black Friday sales. So without further ado, here’s our Featured Deals of the Week: Pre-Black Friday Edition.
Alright so technically it’s two deals. Sue me. The FNX-45 has become a lot of people’s go-to handgun when they talk about a “tactical” pistol. It’s full-size, 15+1, and apparently shoots like a dream. This particular model comes with a Vortex Venom RDS, suppressor height irons, and a threaded barrel.
Why it’s a good deal:If you look hard, you can find these sans sight for about $50 less or thereabouts. However this is the absolute lowest price I’ve seen for an FNX-45 with RDS, and it’s really a very attractive combo together. If you’re looking for a full-size 45, this might be for you.
Refurbished Vortex red dots are neat. To be clear, these are not some 3rd party taking shattered optics slapping a coat of paint on them and listing them for 50% off because they’re worth nothing more than scrap. These are for the most part display models or returns that were serviced by Vortex and covered by a lifetime Vortex warranty, as they explain here.
Why it’s a good deal:Full-warranty like-new Vortex optics, which yeah are the budget optics option but still. They’re out here for way, way cheap. Sparc AR Red Dots for $93.50, StrikeFire IIs for $85, and more!
The 110-round drum magazine for your 10/22. Because reloading is for the poors, amirite? Alright, I actually really want one of these, but alas as some of you may recall from my border-hopping adventures my 10/22 is in a ban state where such toys are verboten. So readers, buy one of these and have fun in my place.
Why it’s a good deal:This is the lowest I can find these magazines. There are one or two other places around offering them for $49.99 as well, but for just one of these drums GunMagWarehouse will charge you about $10 in shipping, which is not bad at all compared to some of the other storefronts out there.
For all my AR-15 building buddies out there, this one’s for you. The Radian Raptor-LT is a very well regarded charging handle. They’re highly durable, American-made, and fully ambidextrous. Which for a dirty south-paw like myself is a very attractive feature.
Why it’s a good deal:Generally speaking, these seem to go for about $50-60, sometimes a little more sometimes a little less. But at $45 you’re getting a damn good deal, even with the $5 shipping. So if you’re looking for a new charging handle, or starting a new build, this deal is for you.

Brownells is selling Polymer80 80% Glock frames with a Brownells exclusive ‘aggressive texture’ for around $75 shipped. Rockey Brass also has a similar deal for a bit more $$ if Brownells sells out, or if you also want a Glock lower parts kit (Brownells is sold out of those).
These frames are usually $120-140. If the aggressive texture bothers you, take some fine sandpaper to the grip to knock the edge off.
Gander Outdoors has Taurus G2C's for $169.99 and there is still a $25 rebate from Taurus on them ($147.99 after rebate for a 12 shot 9mm that works is pretty cheap).
