POTD: The Master Key

Photo Of The Day: Today we are going to have a look at The Master Key.

According to Encyclopedias, a Master Key is ”a special type of key designed to open multiple locks.

Since this is The Firearms Blog it means you are looking at a Shotgun. A shotgun can’t open all doors, but it can open quite a few either by removing the hinges of the door or the main lock itself.

A U.S. Army Paratrooper assigned to the 2nd Battalion, 325th Airborne Infantry Regiment, 2nd Brigade Combat Team, 82nd Airborne Division, practices using his shotgun to break door locks during urban combat training on Fort Bragg, North Carolina, Oct. 17, 2019.

The 2nd Bn. 325th AIR designed the training to be progressive, completing rehearsal iterations of urban combat tactics before culminating the progressive training event with live ammunition in a shoot house. The 82nd Abn. Div. provides rapidly deployable airborne forces for the nation’s Global Response Force, ready to jump, fight, and win worldwide under any conditions. (U. S. After the “Master Key” has been used to get entry, it is time for the M4s to clear the building.
