POTD: USAF Honor Guard Practices at the Lincoln Memorial

It’s time for TFB’s Photo Of The Day again. Today we take a look at some very skilled members of the United States Air Force Honor Guard, as they conduct training in front of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, District of Columbia.

The four-man team practiced a variety of movements and rifle tosses in front of both locals and tourists as the sun set on the mall.

The mission of the U.S. Air Force Honor Guard is to represent Airmen to the American public and the World. The vision of the USAF Honor Guard is to ensure a legacy of Airmen who: promote the mission; protect the standards; perfect the image; and preserve the heritage.

    Beware of those bayonets!

The show must go on – Day & Night!
