OuterImpact® is proud to announce the newest addition to the Modular Red Dot Adapter (M.R.A.) line of products. The OuterImpact M.R.A. line of adapter plates gives shooters an easy to install option for mounting mini red dot sights onto their Sig Sauer P320 pistols without the need for milling or drilling of the slide.

Note: The mount is not compatible with the X-5 or the M17 Models.

The M.R.A. is made from 7075 aluminum and features a hard coat black anodized finish. Most mounting screws are included with the M.R.A. for popular red dot sights. The team at OuterImpact® wanted users to be able to utilize any red dot sight, that is why the M.R.A. was created in the first place. With the overwhelming customer requests and general popularity of SIG Sauer’s P320, expanding the product line to meet this demand was an easy choice.

The SIG P320 can now be optics ready with the addition of the M.R.A

Outerimpact M.R.A. Compatibility

The OuterImpact M.R.A. is compatible with the following Red Dot Sights:

  • Trijicon RMR
  • Doctor Optic
  •  Insight MRDS
  •  Eotech MRDS
  •  Leupold Delta Point
  •  Leupold Delta Point Pro
  •  Vortex Razor
  •  Vortex Viper
  •  Vortex Venom
  •  Burris Fast Fire 2
  •  Burris Fast Fire 3
  •  CMOR STS2
  •  Shield RMS (requires separate screws)
  •  Holosun 507c (requires separate screws)
  •  UTG Reflex Micro Dot
  •  TrueGlo
  •  Sightmark MiniShot (requires custom screws)
  •  Sig Romeo 3
  •  Sig Romeo 3 Max
  •  Sig Romeo 3 XL

With the increased popularity of mini red dots on pistol platforms, it’s no question that this is a great release for Outer Impact. When you consider that most people don’t want to take their nice pistol and machine out part of the slide, the M.R.A. makes sense. Not everyone wants to commit to a “custom cut” slide. Custom-cut slides do not appeal for various reasons; some of which are: the price of modification, effects on the resale of the firearm, ability to “try” different Red Dots, etc.

Good to see Outer Impact reacting to the market quickly with a new offering. I’m a Canadian shooter, and wanted to try a red dot on my glock 48 without a slide cut. If I didn’t like it, i would be stuck with it, because getting a slide only for a 48 here would take months. I got their plate, installed a vortex venom & I’ve shot it since. Over a thousand rounds & it’s held zero perfectly, and slim enough not to look awkward. It’s a solid option; I’ve racked the slide on the red dot numerous times during drills, no deformation at all. I like’ every...very viable choice if you don’t want a milled slide

@Luke C. There should be no reason for a properly designed & executed dovetail mount to be less secure than a milled slide. Outer Impact sure seems to believe in that too; 7075 is tough stuff, and I’m convinced through use that if it’s installed to spec (Torqued to 20 in/lbs if I recall correctly) with the proper screws, it should be every bit as secure as a milling would be. The ability to fit many different red dots was one of the big selling points to me; a lot more flexibility than milling would give me,
