If you’re new to the series (and you’ve been missing out), this is where we look at the most obscure firearms that are actually for sale and ask the question – is this gat a sweet deal or only have fudd appeal?  Each week the TFB staff weighs in with their thoughts, but readers get the final say in the poll at the bottom of each article.

In our last edition, our poll showed that you the readers, found the SKS bullpup more of a Bubba Disaster.

At this time the original auction has ended and the bullpup has not sold.  The seller has re-listed the bullpup for the same $675, should you feel the need to give it a new home.

In order to make post-1986 MAC-10’s and MAC-11’s a possibility, a key design change had to be made.  These newer generation MAC’s would no longer fire from the open bolt and would fire closed bolt semi-auto only.  I think the whole appeal of having say, an open bolt MAC, or maybe belt-fed machine gun, is that at the end of the day it’s the original machine gun.

When original firearms designs are altered you end up with clunky firearms that are terrible to shoot.  Looking cool could not have been more expensive.  I don’t see the point in getting a semi-auto MAC, but I love a full auto MAC.  I guess if I gave up on my dream of owning a full auto MAC, and I was into some strange comic books, maybe this would be the gun for me.
