    Introduced at SHOT Show 2019, the Brownells Retro 4X Carry Handle Scope is now available for purchase. If you have acquired one of the Brownells retro guns or if you have other AR-15s with a carry handle, now you can retrofit it with the replica of this historical Vietnam War era Colt scope.

    In fact, this scope is manufactured by the same company in Japan that made the original Colt scope back in the ’60s. The new scope is made with modern technologies and materials yet externally it is pretty much identical to the original scope down to small details like the yellow inspection sticker on the bottom.

    Brownells Retro 4X Carry Handle Scope is a fixed 4X magnification optic. It is waterproof, fog proof and features multi-coated lenses. The scope has a BDC adjustable turret tailored for 55-grain .223/5.56 bullets’ ballistics with first adjustment position being for shooting up to 200 yards and three more positions for 300, 400 and 500-yard distances. The scope comes with the carry handle mount and can be attached to most carry handles without a use of tools. This new scope has a non-illuminated duplex reticle, 3.11″ eye relief, 21mm objective lens, and 35mm tube. Its overall length is 6.1″ and it weighs in at 12.7 oz.
