POTD: Polish Armed Forces at Exercise Saber Junction 2019

POTD, short for Photo Of The Day, is TFB’s recurring articles where we go to great length trying to find the best pictures out there.

Today we get a look at members of the Polish Armed Forces at the Hohenfels Training Area, in Germany.

It looks like the soldier above carries a FB Mini-Beryl. In 2016 we reported that the Polish Army Ordered 26,000 Beryls & Mini Beryls. Voilà – here they are!

They are part of the Exercise Saber Junction 2019 (SJ19).

SJ19 is an exercise involving nearly 5,400 participants from 16 ally and partner nations at the U.S. Army’s Grafenwoehr and Hohenfels Training Areas, Sept. 3 to Sept. 30, 2019.

SJ19 is designed to assess the readiness of the U.S. Army’s 173rd Airborne Brigade to execute land operations in a joint, combined environment and to promote interoperability with partnering allies and partner nations.
