When most people think of Savage Arms they think of their AccuTrigger, a left-hand friendly company, and an assortment of modern synthetic stocks for target shooters as well as hunters. There is another older crowd of firearm enthusiasts who remember Savage Arms for their Model 99 lever-actions and the gorgeous wood they used to put on their rifles. While the Model 99 is showing no signs of returning Savage Arms has reincarnated some former glory with the debut of their Model 110 Classic.

This is a pretty strong departure from a lot of the hunting rifles that we see on gun store shelves in the past years. While many companies (Savage Arms including) are producing more and more synthetic stocked rifles to keep prices down and durability up, the new Model 110 Classic looks to afford the user with more curb appeal yet allow for a lot of adjustment to perfectly fit whoever is holding the rifle.
