POTD: Heckler & Koch MP7A2 with SR Tactical MRL6 light

    Today we take look at a Heckler & Koch MP7A2 with an Aimpoint Micro T2, mounted in a Spuhr.

    But the spotlight goes to the weapon light made by SR Tactical from Germany.

    This could be the ideal setup for Police intervention forces, that don’t want to carry a heavy rifle.

    For weapon light, it is easy to think about brands like Surefire or Streamlight, but outside the USA and the restrictions of ITAR, there is a need for other options.

    SR Tactical seems to offer a great alternative Made in Germany.

    MRL6 Waffenlampe

    SR Tactical proudly presents the first weapon lamp of its own production.

    The MRL6 weapon lamp has the following technical data:

    Running time: 2.5h tactical runtime

    -Batteries: 2x CR123A

    Housing material: Black, alternatively RAL 8000 anodized aircraft aluminum, waterproof up to 200m

    Switch: cable switch (switch end cap available on request)

    – High quality quick release mounting by Era-Tac (more compact screw mounting available on request)

    -Made in Germany

    The MRL6 weapon lamp is the first device in a modular family of weapon lamps. In addition to different light fixtures, different optics and reflectors, different montages are suitable for Picatinny, MLOK or KeyMod in development. Thoughtful integration options for the supplied cable switch complete the overall package.

    SR Tactical has a valid exemption from the BKA for dealing with prohibited weapons lamps

    The indicated price is 595 €uro incl.19% VAT. That is about 660 USD.
