    (Springfield Armory)

If you stopped by Springfield Armory’s website over the last few days you might have seen a pop up teasing a mysterious date. As you might guess it’s the build up towards a new product release and Springfield have now confirmed it to be what they describe as “a class-leading firearm” which has been in the works for more than two years.

Back in July the company introduced their new M-LOK SAINT Rifles and just last month they launched a ‘Tanker’ version of their M1A rifle.

Here’s what Springfield Armory have to say about the mysterious new launch:

“The rumors are true,” acknowledges Springfield Armory’s VP of Marketing, Steve Kramer. “This highly anticipated project will be a class-leading firearm upon its release on September 25th, 2019.”

In the works for more than two years, the new product is the culmination of countless days, weeks, and months of hard work, dedication and painstakingly precise engineering and design.

“We’re excited for the opportunity to be able to offer this to our customers, and we feel this new product will provide them with the definitive solution in an extremely popular category of firearms,” adds Dennis Reese, CEO and owner of Springfield Armory.
