The Korth Ranger is one of the newest and most exciting offerings from Korth, available exclusively through Nighthawk Custom. The concept behind the Korth Ranger was to design a functional 4” barrel revolver that incorporated a picatinny rail on top for mounting optics, and below for mounting a light/laser. Like every Korth, the Ranger features all fully machined parts that are fitted by the hands of expert gunsmiths in Germany. The Ranger sports a skeletonized barrel shroud that shows the polished Lothar Walther Barrel through precisely machined windows.

Standard Mongoose models feature a black DLC finish, while the Silver Mongoose is coated with an equally durable silver DLC finish. Silver Mongoose models can only be produced in very limited numbers because of the increased polishing that is required on every surface before the revolver receives the coating. I’ve not personally had the chance to hold a Korth revolver, let alone shoot one, but I’d like to give one a try.  For those who have shot a Korth, how was your experience?  For those interested in the high-end revolver market, which of the four models intrigues you the most?
