Earlier this year at Triggercon 2019, TFB was able to get a close look at the new ZEV Technologies O.Z-9 modular pistols. The new pistols offer a singular steel receiver as their core, allowing for a vast array of modifications direct from Zev Technologies. Naturally, Galco has followed closely and released its latest line of holsters for the O.Z-9.

On the heels of ZEV’s new line of complete Glock-Type pistols, Galco Gunleather has recently and excitedly announced a new, wide range of very popular fits for the new O.Z-9 series.

Galco Gunleather specializes in exotic leather holsters for just about any pistol out there. Formerly known as The Famous Jackass Leather Company, the rebranded Galco has spent years refining and improving the Gunleather industry.

With the rise of shall-issue concealed carry laws in nearly every state, Galco has strived to keep up with the rapid evolution and release of defensive carry handguns like the O.Z-9.

Holster Options for the ZEV o.Z-9

According to a press release from Galco, they are currently offering the following fits for the O.Z-9:

  • Belt holsters including the popular BlakGuard™, Concealable™, Corvus™, Quick Slide™, Stryker™, and TacSlide™.
  • IWB designs like the very popular KingTuk™ series, Paragon™, Stow-N-Go™, Summer Comfort™, Triton™, Tuck-N-Go™ 2.0, V-Hawk™ and WalkAbout™ 2.0.
  • Paddle holsters including the M5X Matrix™.
  • Galco also offers women’s holster handbags, the versatile Underwraps™ belly band, day planners and ammo carriers for the O.Z-9!

No matter what your carry needs are, Galco seems to have a fit for every situation and in every material currently used by the holster industry. It will be interesting to see if Galco and ZEV Technologies can feed off of one another’s a success, after all, high-end guns compliment high-end accessories very well.

@Xerxes036 There’s certainly valid reasons for plastic or cordura Holsters, but sometimes looks do mater and a nice leather holster on a nice belt just seems right if you’re carrying while wearing a suit. I don’t wear sneakers with a suit but rather a pair of Goodyear welted (or preferably Hand sown) shoes so a piece of plastic would seem off (being in the people’s republic of Europe this is all very hypothetical for me when it comes to guns, but what would life be without dreams?).
