This great shot comes from a live fire exercise with the 22nd Marine Expeditionary Unit, in Portugal. The photo was taken back in April and the official caption describes what’s going on:

Also worth noting that the Marines of 22 MEU are running Surefire SOCOM suppressors, something the USMC has been experimenting with since 2017.
