Technology
The New Prairie Hunter Features 3 distinct technologies that Savage offers on some of its other rifles. As stated on their website the following technologies are all featured on the rifle:
AccuFit
The new Savage AccuFit system uses an exclusive combination of interchangeable comb risers and length-of-pull inserts to create a custom fit for any shooter.
AccuStock
This rigid aluminum rail system is firmly embedded in the stock throughout the fore-end of select Savage rifles. Rather than uni-directionally engaging the action at one or two points, the AccuStock™ engages it three-dimensionally along its entire length.
AccuTrigger
The AccuTrigger system is easily adjustable by the shooter, offers a light, clean pull with no creep, and prevents the firearm from discharging if jarred or dropped.
As many of you know 224 Valkarie has a massive amount of options as far as bullet weight goes. This makes Savage’s 110 Prairie Hunter ideal for long-distance target shooters and hunters. If you want to add a muzzle device, the 22-inch carbon steel barrel comes threaded from the factory, so you can mount your favorite suppressor out or muzzle device. Savage says it is most suitable for shooting varmints and other small to medium-sized game animals.
Savage is currently shipping stock to gun suppliers now, it is currently listed for an MSRP of $759 according to Savage’s website.
