Grey Ghost Precision has introduced new slides for SIG Sauer P320 pistols. According to the company, the adoption of the M17 and M18 pistols by the US Military as well as the wide use of the P320 series of pistols by professional and competition shooters and various law enforcement agencies nationwide is what led to the development of GGP320 slides which along with a variety of grip modules and other accessories will provide even more flexibility and more options for this weapon system.
The Grey Ghost Precision GGP320 slides are machined out of 416 stainless steel. They are compatible with SIG P320 Full/Carry and P320 XFIVE frames. There are lightening cuts at the top and sides of the front portion of the slide as well as enhanced serrations. These slides are available in black and grey DLC or FDE Cerakote finish and color options.
The slides come with the company’s Hybrid Optics Cut which allows mounting one of the following handgun reflex sights: SIG Sauer ROMEO1, Trijicon RMR or Leupold DeltaPoint. The screws and shim plates necessary to install the mentioned sights as well as with a G10 cover plate for the optics cut are included in the package. Here is how the company describes the development of the Hybrid Optics Cut for the P320:
Hybrid Optic Cut
One of most requested features from our slide customers has been additional optic compatibility. With so many miniature red dot optic choices on the market today with varying and often impeding mounting screw locations, it became a challenge to integrate simultaneous compatibility while retaining a rock solid, low-profile, combat-ready design.
We’ve already introduced the Dual Compatible Optic Cut with our GGP17/19 Version 3 & 4 slides, which gives you the ability to mount either a Trijicon RMR or Leupold DeltaPoint Pro. We knew the GGP320 needed the same capability. However for those who want to run SIG ROMEO1 Micro Red Dot Sight on their P320®, we’ve engineered a solution that allows all three brands of MRDS to share the same footprint!
The result is a slide with mounting compatibility with the Trijicon RMR footprint, as well as the Leupold Deltapoint Pro and the SIG ROMEO1 optic… all without requiring a bulky adapter plate that would raise your optic further above the bore axis. Its a snug, reliable mounting method that gives you even more options right out of the box.
The Grey Ghost Precision GGP320 slides are available for preorder at an MSRPs of $418.95 and $429.99 for the compact and full-size versions respectively. The estimated start of shipping is the end of August.
