TFB's Best Summer Carry Guns – Something For Everyone
I recently polled the TFB Staff on what they would consider the Best Summer Carry Guns. After the usual focused expletives and suggestions of flashbangs and SIG Rattlers tucked away in backpacks, I started getting some serious answers. Obviously, with the summer heat comes the inability to conceal a pistol under jackets, sweaters and (gasp) fishing vests. So instead we turn to thinner and smaller guns that fit in pockets or appendix carry rigs. Below are some of the summer carry gun suggests from our top-notch writers. See if you can pick which staffer suggested each of the below guns. The first one to guess correctly in the comments section below gets a TFB patch.
Thanks for reading TFB.

I would bet that many would recommend the Ruger LCP II. Based upon track record, price, simplicity of use, and size. Some of the guns on the list are close to a grand, which is great if you can afford it, but in this day when you can buy a very high quality pistol for less than 400$, and often much less, a grand is a lot of money, for not really that much better performance.
Depending on daily clothing selection, this summer I’ve been carrying a G43 or S&W 640 Pro. Also been carrying around more life regret than usual this season. Gotta start living in the present more often.
