EMP (Extended Magazine Plate) For Glock By Strike Industries

Strike Industries EMP, Extended Magazine Plate

A few months ago, Strike Industries released a new Extended Magazine Plate, or EMP, for Glock full-sized magazines. The EMP is currently available for the Glock models 17 and 22 and will give an extra 6 or 5 round capacity respectively.  The EMP kit also includes an extended spring and steel locking plate with a set screw.  Strike Industries noted that the EMP is also compatible with aftermarket Glock magazines from Elite Tactical Systems (ETS) magazines.  They also state that the EMP is compatible with magazine wells from Magpul and JP Enterprises.  Photos are from Strike Industries’ website.

Below is the description from Strike Industries about the EMP:

The Strike Industries Extended Magazine Plate For GLOCK G17 9MM / G22 .40CAL was designed to provide smoother magazine reloading through a slow drag / no snag design while maintaining maximum magazine capacity with any OEM GLOCK magazine. The Extended Magazine Plate provides an additional 6 rounds to any G17 GLOCK magazine in addition to adding plus 5 to any G22 .40 cal magazine. Included is our special steel locking plate. Compared to other magazine extension plates on the market, our steel  locking plate features a hook design which adds extra locking security to increase the durability of your magazine & extended magazine plate when fully loaded with rounds.  Our extended magazine plate provides better gripping and overall control along with increasing the overall efficiency of reloads. Give your GLOCK the extra rounds it deserves with the Strike Industries Extended Magazine Plate for GLOCK G17 9mm / G22 .40 CAL.

Strike Industries cautions users not to over-tighten the set screw.  You can view the one-minute installation video below:
