For the month of June, we asked all of you to vote on the topic of “BEST Sub-Compact Striker Fired Pistol” which elicited a lot of different responses in our Reader’s Choice voting. Some of you said our definition was flawed and others threw out anecdotal evidence to sway others to their side, but overall the commenting was as robust as ever! The line in the sand that we drew with our definition for a Sub-Compact Striker Fired Pistol was any pistol that has a 4″ barrel or shorter AND has a single-stack magazine. The wailing and gnashing of teeth could be heard from millions of internet modems away because 1 handgun (who had already won the “BEST Compact Striker Fired Pistol”) could not be in the running. The elephant in the room we are talking about is the SIG Sauer P365 9mm. While that incredibly popular pistol was out of the running from the outset for June, the winner for the “BEST Sub-Compact Striker Fired Pistol” still may not surprise you. So without further ado, your Winner for the June Reader’s Choice Award of “BEST Sub-Compact Striker Fired Pistol” is… the Glock Gen4 43 9mm!!!

The top 2 results in the poll are not surprising at all considering (based on sale numbers) for how overwhelmingly popular they are for concealed carry advocates. The trickle down outside the top 2 begins to get interesting though. One pistol of note, the Heckler & Koch P7 9mm, which is discontinued is another reader-submitted suggestion that made a strong run at the Top 5 through your voting. Every month it seems we receive a suggestion through the comments that makes a dark horse run to the top. That is why it is always important you throw us your feedback to let us know what is truly a fan favorite.

When we run the Reader’s Choice every month what can be more entertaining than the results you guys and gals create through your voting is your side commentary. This month was no exception because you bust our chops and have some pretty good one-liners. We appreciate you engaging in our monthly Reader’s Choice polls and growing along with us as we learn and expand this all out. So let’s dive into some of the more cringe-worthy, feelings-triggering, and hilarious comments you all posted!
Yeah man the P365 is the best weapon ever designed by man. It has never failed, worked great since it was released in the market, and should win this poll too. As a matter of fact SIG P365 should also win best PCC when attached to a brace and with a 50 round mag drum, red dot and thread barrel with a can.

I think what you meant to say is that SIG Sauer should develop an entirely new pistol caliber carbine based around the P365 platform (we hope you are listening to this SIG Sauer).
What kind of special hell are we in when a C9 and a P7 end up on the same list?

This is not even the craziest thing that has happened this week. There are guns running around under the flag of Yeet Cannon now (we love you Hi-Point).
The best micro gun on the market now is the diamondback db9 gen 4. They fixed all the bugs with the previous generations. I have over 1,000 rounds through mine in the past couple of months.

Whoever is making these polls sucks… Get your act together. I’m not even going to vote. This poll is like a presidential election- my options are either a giant douche or a turd sandwich.

I try to never judge anyone’s opinions even if they are severe personal attacks against me because you never know what is going on in other people’s lives… but I am sorry, I am not sure if this is sarcasm or an honest statement?
