POTD: USMC with Norwegian Coastal Ranger Commando during Platinum Ren 19

Today’s Photo Of The Day takes us through frigid water and freezing conditions as US Marines and Norwegian Coastal Ranger Commandos embrace the elements.

Recently U.S. Marines with the 1st & 2nd Reconnaissance Battalion, as well as Norwegian Coastal Ranger conducted the Exercise Platinum Ren at Fort Trondennes in Harstad, Norway.

The Exercise Platinum Ren was a theater security cooperation training evolution to sustain mission essential tasks in harsh operating environments and strengthen coalition partnerships
