Featured Deals of the Week – 6/21/19 – YEET Edition

    yeet

Welcome to another “Featured Deals of the Week!” This week is extra special because I am not your regularly scheduled deals writer and we are going to cover everything YEET! If you are wondering What in the good Lord does Yeet even mean? We can assure you, you are not alone. Our own TFB staff spent a surprising amount of time Googling, hunting through Urban Dictionary, and asking some of our youngest staff members what this verb/noun that is sweeping the internet means. Essentially, it’s your 2019 do-all word. It can be used to exclaim excitement, surprise, and nervousness. It can also be used as a verb in the fashion that you lob or throw something like an axe, a football, or a bullet.

This brings us to why gun owners everywhere will be using Yeet in the years to come. In an extremely condensed synopsis of a story for those who have not heard yet, Hi-Point is releasing a new firearm this year and challenged its legions of fans to name it on social media. The most popular name BY FAR was the “Yeet Cannon 9mm” or “YC-9” for short. After what appeared like Hi-Point pulling that suggestion as a voting option only to bring it back (seemingly after Heckler & Koch, of all companies, advised them to), we have all been scouring the internet to learn what this new buzzword means. More surprisingly than all of this drama fit for a reality TV series are the numerous Yeet products that have been produced before and after. So for the “Featured Deals of the Week” we are going to cover everything Yeet that you may or may not need in your life!

palmetto state armory PSA AR-15 “YEET CANNON” STRIPPED LOWER RECEIVER

Palmetto State Armory was another AR-15 firearm and component manufacturer that was quick to jump into the game and follow the social media trend. They took their well-established Backlash-15 stripped lower receiver and gave it some additional finishing touches. These currently are a pre-order item only and are expected to ship within 4 – 6 weeks. These will soon be available in .223/5.56 or 9mm Glock compatible configurations.

Palmetto State Armory’s limited-edition ‘Backlash-15’ Yeet Cannon lower will only be available once.  Only 750 of these are going to be made, so all serial numbers will be #750 and down. The ‘Backlash-15’ lower comes from the most advanced aerospace manufacturing technology and is one of the industry’s finest forged, MIL-SPEC lowers. This PSA lower is made using our automated manufacturing process. Our multi-million dollar engineering and manufacturing facilities allow us to produce a product of unequaled quality and value. These forged lowers are quality made, MIL-SPEC designed and use 7075-T6 Aluminum.

Liberty suppressors Discreet Yeet 9mm Silencer

Liberty Suppressors posted up the following picture below on their Facebook page recently with the simple explanation of “then this happened…” and nothing else. We wish we had more information to go off of as far as specifications, pricing, and if it is actually going to be something for sale. If it actually does come to market, your current NFA wait time for silencers is unfortunately leaning towards 11 – 12 months at the moment.

falkor defense fg-9 “Yeet cannon” 9mm

Falkor Defense may very well be pulling our legs with this one, but maybe it will actually become a 9mm pistol caliber carbine (PCC) that goes for sale. They took their standard FG-9 and inscribed “Yeet Cannon” on the side of it for all to enjoy with the following remarks of: “Thinking about renaming the FG-9 🤷🏼‍♀️ idk, might delete later 😂.”
