I love me some 1911s. And I have immense respect for our service members.
But my brain is trying to figure out how shelling out over $4,000 on THIS 1911 serves to truly honor our SOCOM warriors as much as it honors the Ed Brown Co. to the tune of $4,000.
Might I suggest, the symbolic “cup of coffee” dollar amount.... $3.00 sent to your favorite organization that helps service members might be wonderful. $3 in the form of socks, toiletries, snacks, sent in a care package, or $3.00 donated to an organization....my own pick is Wounded Warrior. Each had its pluses and minuses, but so long as the deserving get some love and respect.
Oh, and nice pistol too.
As much as I would love to own one of these pistols since I do favor 1911's, I prefer both of my kidneys and wouldn't rather not make that trade but I can always dream of winning the lottery.
