New UMAREX G19x, G18C Gen3 and G19 Gen4 Airsoft Glocks

    Umarex G19x, G18C Gen3 and G19 Gen4 Airsoft Glocks (1)

About a year ago Umarex introduced their new line of licensed airsoft replicas of Glock pistols. Back then, they launched the G42, G19, G17, and G17 Gen4 replicas. Recently, they have added three other airsoft Glocks including a G19 Gen4, G18C, and G19X. Although there are many other airsoft Glocks on the market, to my knowledge, those made by Umarex are the only ones officially licensed by the Austrian manufacturer of these ever-popular handguns.

All of the new airsoft pistols have metal slides that reciprocate upon firing thus kind of replicating the real slide. The magazines are detachable and also look quite similar to the original mags. The gas storage is built into the magazine and can be refilled from an external tank. The disassembly is similar to real guns. The G18C also has a fun switch and comes with an extended magazine. Below you can find the tech specs, instruction videos, and images of each of these new Umarex airsoft pistols.

With so many similarities of manipulations (detachable magazine, reciprocating slide, same controls) and dimensions/weight with the real Glock pistols, these airsoft replicas can be cool training tools in case if real firearms can’t be used for safety reasons. That may include anything from Force-on-Force training to simply practicing your draw stroke or other weapon manipulations indoors. Tell us in the comments section what do you think about using airsoft guns as training tools.
