[NRA 2019] B&T APC9 Pro – GLOCK and SIG Magazine Compatible

    Apc9 Pro

Let’s talk about the new B&T APC9 Pro. If you aren’t familiar with this pistol caliber carbine, then I have to go ahead and question your knowledge and support of firearms and the second amendment all together. Joking aside, these are some of the best sub-machine guns available. Not to worry, they make semi-auto versions as well. The new Pro series from B&T has some interesting new features that I think you will appreciate.

First, it has dual, spring loaded, ambidextrous, non-reciprocating charging handles.  This was apparently a top ask from military and law enforcement clients.  Since these weapon systems are built primary for the LE/MIL market, B&T was willing to make the change.

Second, there are now three different lower receiver options available for the APC 9 Pro.  Consumers will be able to choose from a standard B&T, a Glock, and a Sig lower.  Obviously that means you will be able to run your favorite magazine style in your APC.  The bolt on the Pro has been cut in such a way that it can strip a round from any of the three types of magazines. But what if you have an older version and want to upgrade?  B&T has you covered there as well.  Consumers will be able to send their bolt in and have a B&T gunsmith cut the bolt to work with the new lower receivers.  The receiver options will be available for approximately $500.00 and the gunsmith work will cost an estimated $100.00.

Third, there are several buttstock options.  You can have a side folder, a telescoping option, or the standard fixed position.  Fourth, the lowers will accept your choice of AR15 style grips.  Fifth and finally, the new Pro series offers MLOK slots on both sides of the hand guard.

As you are probably already aware, the Army has selected the B&T APC 9K model (full auto), to be used for protection details.  For people without special licenses and credentials, the B&T APC 9 Pro is available in the 9mm semi-auto configuration as well as a 40 caliber option.  According to B&T, there are no plans to make a K40 or K45, but there will most likely be a 45SD Pro and a 9SD Pro available in the future.

MSRP on these guns will be an estimated $2200.00 and more information can be found here. https://www.bt-ag.ch/site/eng/startseite
