[NRA 2019] FAST Mounts and Acro Plates From Unity Tactical

Unity Tactical continues to innovate and brought many of their new offerings to NRA 2019. Talking to Chip, he said people often ask for a Unity version of products already made well by other companies. Instead of making more of the same, Unity’s goal is to provide new, innovative solutions that are not currently available elsewhere.

    ACRO Adapter

Many have enjoyed the use of Unity Atom slides and the ability to easily swap out optics for their Gen4 and Gen5 Glocks. With the release of the Aimpoint ACRO, Unity is not far behind and will soon be offering an ATOM slide adapter by the end of May. Adapters will have an MSRP of $50.

Many eagerly await the Aimpoint Acro adapter plate.

    Hot Button

The Hot button was also at the booth and will be offered in MLock and Picatinny attachment options and offers a pressure pad with a positive, tactile click. Designed to add ease of control, the hot button provides momentary or constant on use of weapon lights and lasers.

The hot button is a great option for those wanting a pressure pad but suffer from a lack of rail space.

    Fast Mount

Fast mounts were also on full display and will be shipping next week. These 2.26” mounts offer a tall optic mount with built-in iron sights. While only having a 1” sight radius, these provide a crude sight picture for emergency use at close range and also fulfill many department requirements for backup irons on a rifle. The FAST Micro Mount will fit optics with an Aimpoint Micro footprint such as many SIG Sauer, Holosun, Primary Arms and Vortex Optics offerings. The Fast Micro Mounts have an MSRP of $169.

The FAST mount is Unity’s take on a tall mount for many common red dots.

By dipping their head down, the shooter can see the iron sights built into the mount itself.

    FAST FTC Magnifier Mounts

In conjunction with the optic mounts, Unity will be offering FAST Flip-To-Center (FTC) magnifier mounts.  These are the first ever offering that allows magnifiers to be flipped down behind the optic. This significantly helps with reducing snag hazards and does not negatively affect the balance of the rifle. Both Aimpoint and Eotech magnifiers will be supported. The Aimpoint will be shipping next week and the Eotech version will ship sometime this summer. MSRP for the FTC Magnifier Mounts will be $198.00.
