POTD: German Fernspäher with Heckler & Koch and EOTech EXPS3-0

Today’s Photos brings us to the German forests and a short lesson in the German language.

Fernspäher consists of two words.”Fern” means remote and “späher” (Spä·her) means scout.

So we’re looking at Specialized Scouts, to carry our operations behind enemy lines.

They are using Heckler & Koch G36, equipped with the Eotech EXPS3-0 and magnifier G33.

This is the same optic setup as the German Special Forces, as EOTech got the G95K order. You can read more about the details in TFB’s article.

     From the caption:
As a specialized scout, the ranged scouts are far behind the enemy lines. To remain undiscovered is necessary for survival. If the enemy still forces them to fight, they have to break free quickly. In this album we want to give you a little insight into the activities of the Fernspäher.

    Or is there?
Topless beach nearby, or an important crossing?
Yummy, army biscuits in the hide out.
Here’s a nice discovery, the Heckler & Koch MP5 SD still going strong. Perfect for stealth in the woods.
