What the deal is:
This set includes a folding rear sight and folding M4 style front sight. Why it’s a good deal:
This is actually a pretty damn good sale. Buying just the M4 folding front sight alone runs $99, with the rear folding sight running another $119. The combo together ranges in price from $170 to over $200. So if you’re looking for a nice set of BUIS, this might be for you.
Smith & Wesson 5906 Police Trade-in – $349

What the deal is:
These are “very good” condition police trade-in 5906s. Each one comes with a single 15-round magazine. These are also just really fun pistols. They can serve as CC pieces, if on the large side of what most people consider concealable. I think most people are wrong, but I don’t write Concealed Carry Corner. Steel-framed, 9×19, 15 rounds, DA/SA. What’s not to love?
A word of caution. While the deal is solid, some people who’ve purchased these have reported their pistols leaning towards “good” or “fair” condition, rather than “very good”. While these are still a good buy at fair to good condition, do not expect one in “very good” condition.
Why it’s a good deal:
Okay, that little caveat aside, this isn’t bad at all. It’s a solid handgun that may require a little polishing (literally, most of the complaints seem to be a surface amount of rust under the grips). Otherwise, these tend to go (in good condition) for $375-400+, making this a solid deal.
Ruger American Compact 308 – $315

What the deal is:
I have a feeling I’m going to be getting a rep as just as much a Ruger fanboy as James has for Glock. That having been said, this is a really great starter hunting rifle. As I’m sure all of you know, 308 is an incredibly versatile cartridge, perfect for hog or deer and adequate for elk. This is not a bench shooting rifle unless you’re willing to swap the stock. The original black synthetic makes it light-weight, great for humping through the woods in search of a 10 pointer, but not as suitable for the kind of shooting where recoil management is so much more important than portability.
Why it’s a good deal:
GrabAGun always has some of the lowest prices for firearms around. I have no idea how, but they do. This rifle generally sells for between $375 and $425, though I’ve seen it as low as $350 before. At $315, not a bad option.
Geissele Super Semi-Auto Enhanced and 10 pmags – $259.99

What the deal is:
This is actually almost a smoking hot deal. The Geissele Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced (SSA-E) trigger is a smooth, reliable, and robust two-stage AR trigger. It makes an excellent addition to any build. And then there’s 10 Magpul PMAGs. It’s a PMAG. It feeds the freedom seeds into the chamber.
Why it’s a good deal:
So the Geissele SSA-E by itself usually runs $240. Yeah. You’re paying $20 for 10 PMAGs. That’s $2 a mag. Even the absolute dirt cheapest used G3 magazines go for $3 or more. Or if you want to look at it another way, you’re getting an SSA-E for $170 (way cheaper than usual) and 10 PMAGs for $7 each, which is what a D&H 30-rounder usually goes for. No matter how you slice it, a great deal.
