Magnum Research of the Kahr Arms Group has always been known for big-bore hand-cannons that put an immediate beaming smile on anyone’s face who shoots their products. They are also known for their exotic finishes that are truly one-of-a-kind. Recently Magnum Research has introduced a new finish to their Desert Eagle line-up with their primal White Tiger coating that is sure to turn some heads at the gun range.

This finish falls into similar lines as the Gold Titanium and Black Tiger Stripe finishes already in production. All three are truly unique and command attention with this White Tiger vintage fitting into the club nicely. Some of the specifications that set it apart from others can be read below as presented by Magnum Research:

  • .44 Magnum (DE44WTS) | .50 Action Express (DE50WTS)
  • Stainless Steel Slide & Frame
  • 6″ Stainless Steel Barrel w/ Integrated Muzzle Brake
  • 8-Round .44 Magnum Magazine | 7-Round .50 Action Express Magazine
  • Made in the USA
  • MSRP $2,254

This finish is unique not only because of the obvious tiger look but also because it utilizes two different “finishes.” The black portions of the tiger striping are matte black while the white areas are high polish. Magnum Research goes on to better explain this as well as the rest of the pistol in this Press Release statement below:

(Pillager, MN) – Magnum Research, Inc, maker of the world-famous Desert Eagle pistol and leader in innovative firearms design and manufacturing, is proud to introduce the new White Tiger Stripe Desert Eagle.

The White Tiger Desert Eagle pistol from Magnum Research is now shipping. This model is the latest handgun in the custom “Tiger Stripe” series. Its White Tiger finish is created by alternating a pattern of matte and high polish stripes. It joins the previous Gold Titanium, and Black Tiger Striped models, offering shooters another custom finish option for the powerful and accurate Desert Eagle magnum autoloader.

For all of our readers out there, what are your honest thoughts about this finish and look? Does this really trip your trigger and make you want to add one to your collection? Or do you think the finish is a bit too much and you would take a pass on it altogether? Let us know your thoughts in the Comments below! We always appreciate your feedback.
