NEW Liberty Suppressors Infiniti X Lightweight Silencer
Liberty Suppressors has published a video announcing the addition of new Infiniti X can to their line of silencers. Apparently, this is a reintroduction of the discontinued Infiniti suppressor except the new one has a number of features borrowed from the company’s Mystic X suppressor. Let’s watch the video first.
And here is the description of this new product as seen on the manufacturer’s website:
Re-introducing an old favourite! We’re bringing back the Infiniti, with updates that bring it up to our high levels of performance. This multi-caliber silencer uses the same impressive mounting system as the Mystic X, Cosmic, and Centurion, which further adds to its versatility. The baffle design is also identical to the Mystic X, giving the Infiniti X those same excellent suppression capabilities that have helped make the Mystic X so great. Its greatest feature is the new, titanium core that reduces weight by 3.7oz., while still having a very high level of strength. In fact, the entire Infiniti X suppressor weighs almost an ounce less the the Mystic X core! In terms of lightweight versatility, the Infiniti X is a hard one to top.
Like the Mystic X, the Infiniti X suppressor is advertised to be capable of handling a wide variety of calibers starting from .22 LR to .300 Winchester Magnum and pretty much all the popular calibers inbetween. You can learn about all the calibers that this silencer supports by clicking here.
The Infiniti X suppressor has an overall length of 8″, a diameter of 1.375″ and it weighs 7.7 oz. The company states a 33-35 of dB reduction. This suppressor also features a C-series Cerakote coating. It comes with a 1/2-28 LoPro FBA (fixed barrel adapter) and Battlecloth pouch.

Does the owner have a thirteen year old son stuck in 1990 naming their products?
Perhaps I'm too familiar with the all the gimmicks this company has done, from appearing on the Daily Show and looking like clowns, to "square bore hole technology", to referring to your own product as "impressive", to them having a "new" silencer every 3 months, to their webpage having gems like "I HONESTLY DONT KNOW HOW WELL THIS WILL WORK, TO BE HONEST, BUT IT DOES NOT IMPACT THE PARTS.", to their recommendations for their pistol grade aluminum cans to be used on super sonic rifles up to 300wm (knowing that typically it'll be fine and they'll just replace it if you break it once you pony up for a new stamp)... But it's really the naming that bugs me... Their products are probably fine, I don't know.
Ok, the can weighs 7.7 oz, what does it weigh with a complete booster assembly ready to mount on a pistol? Liberty’s multi-caliber cans are appealing because they seem to be more compact and lighter than some other options.
It seems throughout the industry it can be difficult to get exact weights including the mounts unless it is a direct thread can.
