POTD: The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery
Today’s Photo consists of The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery performing in the Castle Arena, Windsor. (United Kingdom). Windsor Castle is a nice place if you ever consider going.
You can see soldiers from the Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment and The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery performing at the Royal Windsor Horse Show.
The cannon is an Ordnance QF 13-pounder field gun, which was the standard equipment of the British and Canadian Royal Horse Artillery at the outbreak of World War I.
Ironically QF stands for Quick-Firing, but times have changed.
The caliber is 3-inch (76.2 mm).
The image was one of the winners in the 2017 Army Photographic Competition.

They should use a faster burning powder or longer barrels, otherwise the will lose projectile speed and range/power.
Nice photograph, but please obtain a better understanding of what "ironically" means before posting articles.
