Browning Introduce Maxus Realtree Timber Camo Shotgun

    Browning Maxus

Browning's new Maxus Realtree Timber shotgun (Browning)

Browning have announced their Maxus with a camouflage pattern from camouflage designers Realtree. The 12 gauge, 26-inch barrel Browning Maxus has been covered with Realtree’s Timber camouflage pattern as a limited availability offering from Browning.

Here’s what Browning had to say about the new shotgun:

The Browning Maxus Realtree Timber Camo Shotgun offers Maxus performance with Realtree Timber concealment, as well as spacer adjustable length of pull, a fiber optic front sight and more.

Real-world reliability is the most important feature any manufacturer can build into a firearm. That’s why it was the first priority when Browning set about developing the Browning Maxus. But reliability isn’t the whole story. The Maxus delivers 18% less felt recoil for greater comfort, 44 percent less muzzle jump for more accurate follow-up shots, 19% faster bolt speed and 24 percent faster lock time than the nearest competitor. Unequaled reliability and features, all found in the finest, most reliable gas-operated autoloader ever to swing on a bird.

The Speed Lock Forearm is one of the most innovative features found on the Browning Maxus autoloader shotgun. A simple lift of a lever allows you to remove the forearm in less than a few seconds. Also, this same lever is used to attach or remove a sling just as quickly.

The Lightning Trigger is designed to offer a smooth, crisp feel with minimal travel. With lock times averaging .0052 seconds, the Lightning Trigger is 24 percent faster than the nearest competing autoloader.

The Power Drive Gas System is the finest gas system on any autoloading shotgun ever. Extensive research and testing have produced a piston design that is extremely reliable in all conditions, regardless of the heavy or light loads being used.

    • Composite stock with close radius pistol grip, textured gripping surfaces and is shim-adjustable for length of pull, cast and drop
    • 1/4-inch stock spacer included for length of pull adjustment
    • Three Invector-Plus choke tubes included (F, M, IC)
    • Fiber-optic front sight and ivory mid-bead”

The Maxus Realtree Timber is available now, with an MSRP of $1,699, find out more here.
