Not all product or press releases get the attention they deserve, not initially anyway. Try launching a product at, for instance SHOT Show, and it will easily drown in the constant flow of wonderful – and not so – products.
The B&T GLOCK Chassis is such an example. I heard rumors about it at EnforceTac 2018 (Germany), but then forgot about it. As the 2019 Edition of SHOT Show unveiled my focus was set at the Flux Brace.
The B&T Glock chassis was introduced about a month ago, and is now available at the Swiss B&T homepage.
B&T USW-G17 conversion kit for Glock 17 and 19
The USW-G17 conversion kit is the ultimate add on for the Glock 17 and 19.
It offers the operator the choice of using the pistol in the traditional way as well as with the built in folding stock, while the transition only requires less than a mere second.
Due to its elaborated design, the operator can use the optionally available red dot sight and the original open sights as back up.
The USW-G17 conversion kit fits all Glock pistols with a standard rail (Gen. 3 – 5) in calibers 9 x 19 mm, .40 S&W and .357 SIG.
Red dot sight (MOS) may not be mounted.
The price is quoted at 391.50 CHF, approximately the same in USD (although the price may not be transferable, it’s an indication).

As you may notice it is not possible to use a Red Dot (with Glock MOS for instance) on the handgun, however you can use an Aimpoint ACRO P-1 (or similar) mounted on the B&T kit.
My Aimpoint ACRO P-1 is ready, so I look forward to trying the B&T setup on my soon-to-be Glock 17 Gen 5.
