IPSC World Championships in Czech Republic 2020 – PCC and Mini Rifle

The International Practical Shooting Confederation (IPSC) of the Czech Republic has announced some exciting news for anyone interested in shooting Pistol Caliber Carbine or Mini Rifle.

They have asked to host the First World Championship for Pistol Caliber Carbine and Mini Rifle in 2020.

The name Pistol Caliber Carbine is pretty self-explaining, but the term “Mini Rifle” means rifles that shoot commercially available .22LR only.

Basically, as long as you have your IPSC license, you can take your Ruger 10/22 and take part in the competition. The top shooters use dedicated 22LR rifles like the JP-22.

    From Facebook (Lubor Novák):

Let me announce you AMAZING NEWS.

IPSC Czech Republic sent request for candidacy for World Championship for Pistol Caliber Carbine and Mini Rifle in 2020 (level V). We would like to organize this match at the Hodonice shooting range, where is held the annual Extreme Euro Open match. The shooting range is fully equipped with all facilities for holding this kind of match, including parking spaces. In August and September, the Czech Republic has a very stable and optimal weather for the event.

Obtaining licenses for the import of weapons and ammunition for sports shooters is very favorable and it is not a complicated process. The Czech Republic has one of the best pro-weapon laws in the world.

Accommodation capacity in Znojmo and its surroundings is enough. Infrastructure is high. Vienna Airport is 90 km away, Prague Airport is 170 km away and Bratislava Airport is 160 km far away from Znojmo city.

The Czech Republic is the 7 safest country in the world.

The organization will take on the Extreme team headed by Lubor Novák.

The Extreme Team has years of valuable experience in organizing matches with 800+ shooters.

That is why I would very much like to ask you to support our candidacy. I’m looking forward to meeting you on the shooting range and I firmly believe you will not miss this unique shooting event.
    Best regards
