Schmidt & Bender is a family-run manufacturer of high-end rifles scopes since over 60 years.

S&B have now developed a new reticle, designed with the Practical Long Range Sports Competitor in mind. The reticle is called GR²ID and according to S&B it encompasses many features to aid different problems facing the competitor in a PRS stage.

As you can see the grid is going 2 Mil above the main horizontal line.

Practical Precision Rifle Stage

Hold Over/ Under – faster stage times.

The Hold Over / Under Grid is a new addition to reticle design. This came about from a need of Practical Precision Rifle Competitors wanting to dial out the elevation and windage of a mid ranged target in order to then use the reticle to either hold over or under in engaging multiple Targets in a stage.

Less to dial, Less to remember = Faster stage times.

• The horizontal dot pattern of the grid, features 0.06 Mil dots every 0.2 Mil and larger 0.08 Mil dots at the 1 Mil markers to aid in quick identification.

• The vertical dot pattern of the grid is made up of 0.04 Mil dots, which are unobtrusive, yet easily distinguishable under tight focus.

The new GR²ID reticle was shown at the SHOT Industry Range Day (in practice) and at Shot Show.

The popular 0.035 Mil main cross-hair line thickness of the P4 Fein has been retained throughout the subtension details of the GR²ID reticle. •Elevation numbers are provided in 1 Mil increments on both sides of the grid to reduce time in searching for holdover references. • The Ballistic Grid pattern has been designed to cover the ballistics of a ‪308 175‬gn @ 2580fps in a full value 25 mph crosswind out to 900m. More efficient calibers such as 6.5mms or 6mms extend the usefulness of the grid out past 1,100m.

1-8×24 PMII ShortDot Dual CC

The 1-8×24 PM II ShortDot Dual CC has been awarded by the German Bundeswehr for the tender „Rüstsätze Patrouillenkonfiguration G28, Anteil Optik“ (Military Equipment Patrol Configuration G28, Optics).

The compact 2 in 1 system combines a red dot in the second focal plane with an illuminated reticle in the first focal plane. This combines the advantages of a reflex sight with those of a conventional
riflescope, providing a sight solution for short and medium distances.
