[Shot 2019] Borden Super Short 6

Just released here at Shot Show 2019 is the Borden Super Short 6 action and magazine.  This system solves a real problem for shooters of the popular 6 BR and 6 Dasher cartridges.

The issue has been in terms of feeding.  Many shooters have resorted to adding spacers in their short action magazines to take up space in the body to allow for smoother feeding.  With the new Borden Super Short 6 action and magazines, this should be a thing of the past.

The Borden Super Short 6 has a Remington 700 foot-print but is “internally tailored to the 6BR caliber and it’s wildcats.”  It features a pinned recoil lug, a pinned 20 minute of angle scope rail, and is available in right or left-handed configurations.  The action will accept Remington 700 pattern aftermarket triggers from many of the top manufacturers.

The Super Short 6 Magazine pairs perfectly with the action of course and keeps cartridges from nose-diving and causing failure to feed malfunctions.

The new action and magazines will be shipping early in the second quarter of 2019.  The custom action will cost $1265.00 and the magazine will cost $70.00.  More information can be found on the Borden website.
