Bergera has been listening to their shooter base because for 2019 they have new desired caliber offerings, left-handed rifles, and new models available for the first time. Everything from their Timber and Woodsman up to their Ridgeback has had a discerning eye looked at it to give hunters more of what they want. Small changes, but desired modifications, indeed. Let’s take a look at everything!

The Bergera “Premier Series” Ridgeback is a NEW rifle for 2019 and it melds a multitude of popular features for shooters. You have M-LOK slots, an easily adjustable cheek rest, and a threaded barrel with a 5/8×24 muzzle and a knurled thread protector. It also boasts a┬áTriggerTech trigger, Bergera Premier action, and accepts AICS style magazines. The calibers you get to choose from are as follows:

    • 6mm Creedmoor | 1 in 8″ Twist
    • 6.5 Creedmoor | 1 in 8″ Twist
    • 6.5 PRC (Precision Rifle Cartridge) | 1 in 8″ Twist
    • .308 Win. (Winchester) | 1 in 10″ Twist
    • .300 Win. Mag. (Winchester Magnum) | 1 in 10″ Twist
    • .300 PRC (Precision Rifle Cartridge) | 1 in 8″ Twist

The MSRP you are looking at for all of these caliber offerings is a flat $2,100. These should all be available very soon.

    • .270 Win. (Winchester) | 1 in 10″ Twist
    • .280 Ackley Improved | 1 in 9″ Twist
    • 7mm-08 | 1 in 9″ Twist

Next up within the Timber and Woodsman rifles there are new caliber choices for shooters to pick from. With the Timber, which features a Monte Carlo style walnut stock, there are now all of these calibers to select from:

    • .243 Win. (Winchester) | 1 in 10″ Twist
    • 6.5 Creedmoor | 1 in 8″ Twist
    • .270 Win. (Winchester) | 1 in 10″ Twist
    • 7mm-08 | 1 in 9″ Twist
    • .308 Win. (Winchester) | 1 in 10″ Twist
    • .30-06 Sprg. (Springfield) | 1 in 10″ Twist
    • .300 Win. Mag. (Winchester Magnum) | 1 in 10″ Twist

These chamberings should hopefully satisfy everyone from youth shooters up to people looking to take down some of the largest game North America has to offer. All of these various calibers have an MSRP of $945.

Switching to the Woodsman, the small difference between these two walnut hunting rifles is the Woodsman uses an American style stock (no raised wood cheek rest). The Woodsman is now chambered in all of the same calibers as the Timber above and hits home at the exact same price point as the Timber as well.
