Aero Precision ATLAS Complete Uppers 20% off

What the deal is:

Aero Precision (same guys as last week, I know) are offering their ATLAS complete AR-15 uppers for 20% off. These uppers range from 7.5″ long to 22″ long, with stops along the way. These uppers come in a variety of chamberings, 5.56 NATO of course, .300 Blackout, .223 Wylde, .224 Valkyrie, and 6.5 Grendel. Finally, the uppers come in black or FDE. Almost all provide you the choice, some are only one or the other.

Why it’s a good deal:

Aero Precision’s uppers are well known for being solid additions to any build, and their price point reflects it. Before the discount, the least expensive upper was $360, with many of them ranging as high as $550, and reaching as much as $590 before tax.

Ruger precision rifle 308 hybrid gen 2 – $799.99

What the deal is:

This is the Ruger Precision Rifle chambered in 308 Winchester. The Ruger Precision is a well-known bolt-action rifle, made for long distance shooting. TFB’s own Joel W. included the Ruger Precision Rifle in his list of good entry level precision rifles, where he mentioned enjoying the 2 lbs. trigger that his Ruger Precision had shipped with, where he shot a 3/4″ group at 100 yards shooting Federal 168gr Gold Medal Match. This ended up translating to a 6″ group at 600 yards. Obviously, your own mileage may vary, and you can likely get better groups with painstakingly precise hand-loads as opposed to factory ammunition.

Why it’s a good deal:

The MSRP on this Ruger Precision Gen2 is $1,600, with street prices generally ranging from around $1,000 to about $1,150. CDNN Sports is selling theirs for just under $800 before S&H, which means saving 20% or more on the cost of the rifle, savings that can be put towards (but will by no means cover) a good long range optic.

What the deal is:

The Hornady Lock-N-Load Classic Kit is a great starter kit for anyone interested in getting into reloading their own ammunition. What the deal is:

Banana Ruger LC9s – $219

What the deal is:

Okay, to get this out of the way quickly, yes, it is bright yellow. I know. If you can stomach that, the LC9s is a great little gun. It’s absolutely tiny, just 6″ long and 4.5″ high and less than an inch wide. Even with all that, it’s 7+1 capacity in 9×19. Everybody I know who owns one of these loves it. Because I said that, somebody will show up in the comments to say they hated theirs. That’s alright, but I can tell you from personal experience that at least I found them fun and comfortable to shoot.

Why it’s a good deal:

If you can deal with the color, this is a steep discount. These yellow models usually run somewhere between $250 and $300, with normal colored models reaching as high as $350, though they are more commonly found around $300. So for $219, you’re getting a pretty sweet deal.
