Slim handguards, often chosen by competitive sports shooters who like to get a good grip around the handguard at all times.

Unique-ARs, based in McCall, Idaho, has a new line of handguard called the Slim Series.

As the name suggests, these handguards offer a slimmer profile than their usual, with an Outer Dimension of 1.8”, Inner Dimension of 1.55” and +0.25” for gas tube/gas block/piston systems.

All handguards have a Picatinny accessory rail at the 12 o’clock position and M-LOK slots at the 6 o’clock position.

There are already 32 designs available in the Slim Series, and Unique-ARs can help you with a custom design should you have the need.

These rails are milled from 6061 T6 aluminum, and comes from 7.25”, and the traditional stock lengths of 9”, 12” and 15”.

To mount Slim Series handguards, Unique-ARs created a new Mil Spec AR-15 barrel nut, milled from steel. The new handguards slide onto this barrel nut, and are locked down by two mounting screws that cinch the handguard tight.
